CHL final to bring fans even closer to action
Sold-out ČPP arena stages final outside of the Nordics for the first time
Zug, Switzerland – Infront, a Wanda Sports Group company and the exclusive media and marketing partner of the Champions Hockey League (CHL), will offer fans the most engaging final yet when the game takes place in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic on Tuesday.
For the first time in CHL history, the final will be staged outside of the Nordics when Mountfield HK faces three-time winners Frölunda Indians from Sweden.
Infront will be onsite ensuring every minute of the game will be captured from multiple angles, delivering ice hockey fans an engaging viewing experience. Twenty cameras will capture the action, while the venue also allows for rink cameras to return to the final for the second time. A camera will also be installed in the Video Goal Judge's booth for the first time for CHL whilst referees will carry helmet cameras and microphones. This gives fans direct access to the full decision-making process, allowing them to follow the conversation between all officials.
Infront Lab, which explores opportunities for intelligent solutions for client challenges, will debut its new product Fan360 on the CHL app. The software uses facial recognition technology whereby fans can receive and share professional photos of themselves in real time.
All 6,890 tickets for the final were sold out within 20 minutes of tickets going on sale.
