Hamburg, Germany / Zug, Switzerland — HYROX, the global fitness racing phenomenon majority-owned by Infront, has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024.

The list shines a spotlight on businesses that are shaping industry and culture through their innovations, setting new standards, and achieving remarkable milestones in all sectors of the economy. Alongside the World's 50 Most Innovative Companies, where HYROX ranks 41, Fast Company recognizes 606 organisations across 58 sectors and regions. In the “Wellness and Personal Care” sector, HYROX took the top spot “for creating a global fitness competition for regular gym rats.”

Christian Toetzke, Founding Partner & Managing Director of HYROX, said: “We are honoured to be included in this year’s Fast Company Most Innovative Company awards and that our vision, to connect the world’s training communities through competition, has materialised and been recognised by Fast Company as a transformational concept. Our goal is to develop the most robust sporting ecosystem on earth active, on every major continent and supporting all athletes to experience the transformational benefits of training and competition.”

HYROX, the Global Sport of Fitness Racing, enjoyed a remarkable 2023. It closed the loop on its 360-degree eco-system (training, racing and competition, community, lifestyle), integrating mass participation competition (160,000+ athletes), a distinctive training methodology paired with a rapidly evolving global gym network (1,700+), a robust media and community presence, and the rapid development of an elite sport with Olympic ambitions.

This unique ecosystem facilitated the introduction of a record number of individuals to the transformational power of training and competition, tapping into an unfulfilled gap for the average gymgoer to express their fitness in a competitive setting.

Its meteoric rise has positioned HYROX as the leading fitness sport globally, generating exposure and interest that have led to partnerships with some of the most innovative brands on the planet including RedBull, Puma, Centr and a suite of partners that recognise the huge potential of the sport of fitness racing. Breaking down barriers to sporting competition, HYROX has created a 360 lifestyle-based pursuit that resonates with a new generation of fitness racing enthusiasts, fostering a global community across every continent on the planet.
