When outstanding work is recognised

Shanghai, China - The award season continues for Infront with the Chinese Happy 10k running series winning a gold medal and the Chongqing International Half Marathon a bronze medal at the Marathon Gala China 2016. In addition, Infront won a Special Contribution Award for its dedication towards promoting marathons throughout China.

Anne Zhao, Infront China’s Managing Director: "The medals were the best recognition of Infront’s work over the past three years. The Happy 10k series has become an important pillar of running events in China as they perfectly complement the pre-existing marathons and half-marathons."

Du Zhaocai, Director Athletic Administration Center of State Sports General Administration of China: "Infront has successfully transformed Happy 10k into a benchmark 10k road race in China. I am confident that Infront will increase the service level even further, which will lead to an improved running experience – both for professionals but also amateurs."

Wu Hongtao, Infront’s Director of Active Lifestyle, concluded: "This gold medal is not a finishing line, but a brand new start for Infront."

The Marathon Gala China 2016 was held by the Chinese Athletic Association (CAA) in Shanghai on 20 March with the main objective of rewarding Chinese companies for the development and improvement of innovative running events, and therefore ultimately promoting a healthy lifestyle throughout China.
