Latest agreement will see premium tyre brand promote all-season and winter range at Alpine skiing’s flagship event

Zug, Switzerland – Apollo Tyres will use the 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships to promote Vredestein, its premium tyre brand, after being named an Official Sponsor of the event. The agreement was brokered by the competition’s exclusive marketing partner Infront.

The platform will be used to help drive awareness of Vredestein’s award-winning winter (Wintrac and Wintrac Pro) and all-season (Quatrac and Quatrac Pro) tyre ranges. Its branding will feature on banners and backdrops at the event, set to be held in Courchevel-Méribel, France, from 6 to 19 February 2023.

Benoit Rivallant, President and CEO at Apollo Tyres, said: “This significant new commitment to winter sports provides an ideal platform to increase positive awareness of some of Vredestein’s unique brand and product attributes. Our winter and all-season tyres have many natural synergies with the world of competitive skiing, in particular the shared focus on achieving superior standards of performance and safety on snow and ice. The Championships attracts a highly engaged audience that understands and appreciates premium-quality products, and this new agreement will help us quickly elevate the profile of Vredestein in established territories and in key growth markets for the brand across Europe.”

Michael Witta, Vice President Marketing Sales & Services, Infront said: “This sponsorship allows Apollo to leverage the reach and influence of the Alpine World Ski Championships, providing valuable exposure and opportunities for engagement with its customers. We’re delighted to have facilitated this agreement which will provide the brand a platform to showcase its commitment to high-quality products."
