Men’s EHF EURO 2024 set for broad free-to-air reach

Broadcast agreements across almost 100 territories and sold-out sponsorship packages highlight rising popularity of European handball

Zug, Switzerland – Infront, the exclusive media and marketing partner of the European Handball Federation (EHF), has successfully secured over 30 broadcasters across more than 100 territories for the upcoming Men's EHF EURO 2024.

The tournament, which takes place across Germany from 10-28 January, will enjoy comprehensive coverage across free-to-air broadcasters in key handball nations including Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, Portugal, Denmark, France and Switzerland. Host country Germany will also see the event broadcast live across public broadcasters, ARD and ZDF. This is supplemented by a broad range of agreements for pay-TV broadcasts as well as EHFTV coverage in dark markets.

The event will throw off at the MERKUR Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf with over 53k fans, a world-record attendance for a handball match, expected to watch France face North Macedonia before the hosts take on Switzerland.
