Eight-year agreement sees Infront lead global partnership sales across the WTT Series and ITTF World Championships until 2034

Zug, Switzerland – Infront has been appointed Worldwide Lead Agency by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) for Marketing Rights for World Table Tennis (WTT), marking the start of a new eight-year partnership designed to accelerate the commercial development of international table tennis.

The agreement, which runs until 2034, covers global marketing rights across the full WTT Series, including WTT Finals, Grand Smashes, WTT Champions, WTT Star Contender and WTT Contender events. The ITTF World Championships will also be included once existing commercial commitments come to an end.

As Worldwide Lead Agency for Marketing Rights, Infront will work with ITTF and WTT to define the commercial strategy for the portfolio, including its go-to-market approach, target categories and partnership packages. Infront will also lead global partnership sales and coordinate closely with ITTF and WTT stakeholders across markets to create a consistent commercial proposition for brands.

A key focus will be attracting Global Partners across the WTT Series and securing Presenting Partners for individual events, building on the sport's established strength in Asia while expanding its commercial reach internationally.

It brings a new sport and partner into Infront's portfolio and further expands its commercial activities across Asia as part of its broader global sports business.

Petra Sörling ITTF President, WTT Chair and IOC member, said: “Infront has extensive experience in building international sports partnerships and a global sales network that can help us take the next step in the commercial development of table tennis. This partnership gives us a coordinated approach across the ITTF World Championships and the WTT Series and the ability to present brands with opportunities spanning our biggest events, markets and audiences. We look forward to working together to build long-term partnerships that support the continued growth of the sport worldwide.”

Philippe Blatter, Infront President & CEO, Infront said: “Table tennis has an extraordinary global following and significant potential for further growth. Together with WTT, we want to unlock the full potential of the sport, expanding its global reach, inspiring new generations of fans and creating even greater value for brands and partners. With its strong foundations in Asia and growing international momentum, we believe table tennis has an exciting future, and we are committed to helping shape that next chapter.”

The partnership comes as table tennis continues to broaden its international profile. An Olympic sport since Seoul 1988, it will feature a record six medal events at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, with the Mixed Team event joining Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
