Infront to ensure international reach for Spengler Cup for six further years

Davos, Switzerland – The Spengler Cup Davos and Infront announced today the extension of their long-term partnership until 2023. As an experienced partner for the distribution of international media rights, Infront will keep broadening the reach of the competition, ensuring top quality coverage of the tournament in the key ice hockey markets worldwide. Strong line up for 2018

Hosted by the Swiss team HC Davos, the Spengler Cup is an invitational tournament, featuring six teams from around the world. It represents the most traditional international ice hockey tournament for clubs. This year’s competition will feature defending champions Team Canada and Hockey Club Davos (SUI) – each with 15 Spengler Cup wins – as well as HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk (RUS), KalPa Kuopio Hockey Oy (FIN), Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers (GER) and Champions Hockey League semi-finalists HC Oceláři Třinec (CZE).The tournament will start on Wednesday 26 December 2018, with the final taking place on Monday 31 December.
