Frankfurt, Germany - FC Energie Cottbus continues to trust in the experience and network of Infront Sports & Media. The partnership, which was first initiated in 2009, has been extended up to and including the 2017/18 season. In addition to the commercialisation of the main sponsor package, Infront now markets further sponsorship packages and stadium advertising for the 3. Liga club.

The collaboration between the two partners has well demonstrated its value over the years – securing several strong sponsors. Most recently, the contract with karton.eu as shirt sponsor of FC Energie Cottbus was extended by another year.

Wolfgang Neubert, President of FC Energie Cottbus, said: “For more than seven years, the collaboration with Infront has proven to be extremely satisfying and successful. We appreciate Infront's experience and its broad network in German football and are happy to continue trusting on their strength as a partner for the next three seasons.”

Reinhardt Weinberger, Managing Director of Infront Germany, added: “FC Energie Cottbus is a traditional club with strong local roots. This combination of attributes makes the club interesting and favourable and we are continuing to focus on regional partners with national significance in order to continue exploiting the full potential of the club.”
