Major free-to-air and pay-TV partnerships underpin extensive coverage across South-East and Central Asia
Zug, Switzerland – Infront has secured extensive broadcast coverage across South-East and Central Asia for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, delivering broad free-to-air, pay-TV and digital access to audiences across the region.
Through a multi-layered distribution strategy, coverage of Milano Cortina 2026 will be delivered by more than 30 media outlets, combining established national broadcasters with leading regional platforms to ensure wide accessibility and consistent exposure throughout the Games.
Key free-to-air agreements have been struck with multiple broadcasters in Kazakhstan, including Qazsport, Khabar Agency and Jibek Joly TV as well as ELTA in Chinese Taipei, two of the region’s strongest Winter Olympic markets in terms of athlete participation. In South-East Asia, new broadcast arrangements in Vietnam with VTVCab and VTV, and in Thailand with TrueVisions, provide extended live coverage of the Winter Games to local audiences.
In addition to traditional broadcast distribution, a dedicated Olympic YouTube channel will offer complementary live and non-live coverage in selected markets, supporting overall reach while maintaining a strong focus on primary broadcast partners.
All content distribution will be coordinated through Infront’s Master Control Room (MCR) in Milan, which will act as the central operational hub for regional content delivery and production during the Games.
Milano Cortina 2026 marks the first Olympic Winter Games delivered under Infront’s eight-year agreement with the International Olympic Committee, under which Infront serves as the Official Media Rights Holder for Central and South-East Asia.
This extensive distribution reflects Infront’s long-standing expertise in delivering large-scale international sports events across diverse markets, underpinned by its broader portfolio of global partnerships across Olympic, winter and summer sports.
Jens Mennigmann, Co-Head of Media at Infront, said: “Milano Cortina 2026 represents an important milestone for our partnership with the IOC. Our focus has been on building a robust, accessible broadcast footprint across South-East and Central Asia, combining free-to-air reach with strong operational delivery to ensure the Games are widely available across the region.”
