4F to become Presenting Sponsor of the "Vierschanzentournee" until 2021/22

Salzburg, Austria / Zug, Switzerland — 4F, the Polish sportswear manufacturer, is to become the Presenting Sponsor of the Vierschanzentournee, the biggest annual ski jumping event, for the coming four years. The deal was struck by Infront, the rights holder of the "Vierschanzentournee" and official marketing partner of the German and Austrian Ski Federation (DSV and ÖSV) for the event.

Great exposure at all four venues

As the Presenting Sponsor, 4F will be integrated in the official event logo and will benefit from an extensive exposure at all four competitions on several Infront LED boards, on the coaches tower and the jump-off platform as well as on all the main installations, such as the start backdrop, the exit gate and the hot air balloon. At the final event in Bischofshofen, 4F's logo will also be featured on athlete bibs as well as on the leaderboard and backdrop at the awards ceremony. The sponsorship package also includes a hospitality contingent and further promotion and activation rights.

Increasing winter sports involvement

Despite being already involved in major winter sport events and Olympic Games through its cooperation with the Polish Olympic Committee, the Polish Ski Federation, and the Polish Biathlon Association, this deal marks the first time that 4F will be directly involved in a main ski jumping event. By signing up for four years, the Polish sportswear manufacturer is guaranteed enhanced exposure both nationally and internationally.

The "Vierschanzentournee" has always had a great following, with the 2017/18 edition welcoming around 110,000 spectators onsite and reaching a cumulative TV-audience of 74 million, 25 million of which in Poland thanks largely to the participation of national hero Kamil Stoch.Michael Witta, Managing Director of Infront Austria, said: "Infront is very proud to have found in 4F the new Presenting Sponsor of the Vierschanzentournee. We are convinced that 4F represents a perfect partner for the Vierschanzentournee, not only because of its perfectly matching name. We will fully support 4F in achieving its goals and we are very excited about the long-term cooperation."

Igor Klaja, Managing Director of 4F, added: “We are very happy to be part of the Vierschanzentournee as the new Presenting Sponsor. In addition to our existing sponsorships, the Vierschanzentournee, being the most prestigious Ski Jumping event, represents for us the perfect platform to promote our brand throughout Europe. This partnership reflects our plans and ambitions to truly become a globally recognized brand.”

The 2018/19 Vierschanzentournee will be the 67th edition of the competition and will take place from 29 December 2018 through to 6 January 2019. The competitions will be staged across Germany and Austria in Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen.
