Infront strengthens Wanda Diamond League global broadcast network through spate of new agreements

Exclusive media rights partner builds on established free-to-air and premium broadcaster foundation as 2026 season arrives in Europe

Zug, Switzerland - Infront has further strengthened the 2026 Wanda Diamond League’s international broadcast distribution ahead of the European leg of the calendar, securing a series of new agreements across key global markets.

As the exclusive media rights partner of the Wanda Diamond League, Infront has added new broadcasters in Europe and Asia while continuing long-standing partnerships with major free-to-air and premium broadcasters across athletics’ strongest markets.

New additions for the 2026 season include TV2 Denmark, SpoTV across Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Macau, as well as new agreements in Bulgaria, Mongolia, Albania, Kosovo and Belarus.

These additions build on an established international distribution network that already includes leading free-to-air broadcasters such as BBC in the United Kingdom, CBC in Canada, CCTV in China, Globo in Brazil, L’Équipe in France, NRK in Norway and SVT in Sweden.

The broad mix of free-to-air, pay-TV and streaming partnerships ensures that the Wanda Diamond League remains widely accessible to athletics fans globally, while continuing to strengthen its reach in both established and emerging markets. In total, agreements have been struck with over 50 broadcasters, ensuring this season’s events enjoy coverage across over 150 territories worldwide.

The 2026 Wanda Diamond League season continues in Rome on 4 June following the opening stages of in Shanghai and Xiamen in China as well as Rabat, Morocco. It will feature 15 meetings across four continents and brings together many of the world’s leading track and field athletes throughout the year with the final taking place in Brussels, Belgium.

Beyond the Wanda Diamond League, Infront continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading global media rights partners in athletics through its wider collaboration with World Athletics. Alongside the Wanda Diamond League, Infront also manages the international media rights for the World Athletics Ultimate Championship, set to make its debut in Budapest, Hungary, from 11-13 September 2026, the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold and the World Athletics Indoor Tour.
