COMPETITION FORMAT
CEV CHAMPIONS LEAGUE VOLLEY
(same format for both Men's and Women's)
- The CEV Champions League Volley Round 1 will be played as a tournament – single round robin system. Then the Pool Winners and 2nd ranked teams will qualify to the 2nd Round of the tournament that will be played as 2 Pools (4 teams per each) and the organisation of the 2nd Round Tournaments will be granted to the highest ranked teams per pool according to the CEV Champions League Volley 2024 ranking.
- There will be no Round 3.
- Round 4 will be played as double round robin with three matches at home and another three away matches. Five pools, each with five teams. Winner of each pool progress directly to Quarter Finals. The five second placed teams and the third-placed team with the best score will then play Play-Offs phase – as knock-out with home and away match. Three winners of Playoff phase and five pool winners form Round 4 access to the Quarter Finals, as a knock-out with home and away match. Then winners from Quarter-Finals progress to Semi-Finals and the Super Finals.
CEV VOLLEYBALL CUP
(same format for both Men's and Women's)
- Maximum 32 Clubs per gender compete in 1/16 finals.
- 16 winning Clubs then play 1/8 finals always on a home and away format followed by 1/4 finals, 1/2 finals and finals.
- All played in a knockout, home and away format.
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
(same format for both Men's and Women's)
- Maximum 64 Clubs per gender compete in early qualification round in a knockout format.
- Winning teams then proceed to 1/16 finals – 1/8 finals – 1/4 finals – 1/2 finals and finals also in a knockout format.
