PRODUCTION

All races produced in HD 16/9, with international sound and English graphics; available via satellite.

RACES

More than 60 Men’s and Women's races per season. Up to 200 hours of programming per season.

SCHEDULING

  • Season runs from NOVEMBER to MARCH
  • Races are mostly on weekends, 
    FRIDAY – SUNDAY
  • Races are generally held in the afternoon

FIS SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP

COMPETITIONS

  • Ski Jumping competitors descend a jumping ramp to a take-off table where they jump and fly to cover THE LONGEST POSSIBLE distance over a landing hill. Each jump is evaluated according to the DISTANCE and the STYLE performed
  • The competitions can feature INDIVIDUAL or TEAM formats, and they take place on different heights of hills

 

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

  • The “Four Hills Tournament” with the traditional Garmisch (GER) race on New Year’s day and the Austrian stages in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen
  • Men’s and Women’s Ski Jumping “Raw Air” Tournament in famous locations such as Oslo and Vikersund (NOR)
  • Spectacular Ski Flying races with 240 meter hills in Vikersund (NOR) and Planica (SLO) and 235 meter hills in Oberstdorf (GER)
