KEY FACTS
- The annual Figure Skating Championships include the following disciplines: Ladies Single Skating, Men Single Skating, Pair Skating and Ice Dance.
- The biennial World Team Trophy features selected skaters from the six countries with the best results during the season to compete in the disciplines of Ladies Single Skating, Men Single Skating, Pair Skating and Ice Dance in a team format.
- The Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series consists of six international senior invitational events and the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. Competitors collect points in their Grand Prix events and only the top six Skaters in each discipline can qualify for the Final.
- At the World Synchronized Skating Championships, teams of 16 Skaters show precise formations, moving in one unit.

Championships occur generally over one week, MONDAY/TUESDAY – SUNDAY
