    COMPETITION FORMAT

    • Modern one-day race typically taking place at the end of January.​
    • Inspired by Europe’s prestigious cycling classics, the race is the first of its kind in the continent and was born as the farewell event of Cadel Evans, Australia’s most decorated rider ever.​
    • Both races represent the second stage of​
      the UCI Men & Women World Tour calendars,​
      the top-tier circuits of international cycling.​
    • Participation of top World Tour teams and riders.​
    • Its highly scenic coastal roads, rolling hills, technical corners and punchy climbs make it an electric and unpredictable race suited to both puncheurs and sprinters.
