Infront secures LaVita as Title Sponsor of IBU’s flagship biathlon events

Four-year partnership begins with the 2026/27 season, covering the IBU World Cup Biathlon and IBU World Championships Biathlon

Zug, Switzerland – The International Biathlon Union (IBU) and LaVita have broadened their long-standing partnership through a new IBU World Cup Biathlon and IBU World Championships Biathlon Title Sponsorship agreement from the 2026/27 season onwards. The four-year agreement marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between the IBU and LaVita, aiming to expand the sport’s international footprint and reach new markets. The agreement was brokered by Infront, the exclusive marketing partner of the IBU.

The title sponsorship package includes the naming right of the competitions, prominent branding opportunities such as on starting numbers, perimeter advertising rights, exclusive starting installations, and special promotional materials at all races. LaVita will also activate its presence onsite, ensuring strong visibility across TV broadcasts and live event experiences.

The collaboration with former world-class biathlete Magdalena Neuner as well as Norwegian stars Johannes and Tarjei Bø will also continue as part of the extended partnership.

LaVita, a family-owned business from Lower Bavaria, has been a committed supporter of winter sports and currently serves as the Official Main Sponsor of the IBU World Cup Biathlon until the end of the 2025/26 season.
