Extension takes well-established cooperation with German Ski Association (DSV) and Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) for flagship ski jumping tournament to 2025/26

Zug, Switzerland – The German Ski Association (DSV) and the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) have prolonged their exclusive marketing partnership for the annual Vierschanzentournee with Infront, a Wanda Sports Group Company, for another four years until and including season 2025/26.

The extension covers all marketing activities for the world’s biggest annual event in ski jumping. The classic tournament, which was first held in 1953, features four events, two each in Germany (Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen) and Austria (Innsbruck and Bischofshofen).

Stefan Krauß, Infront Vice President Winter Sports, said: "The Vierschanzentournee is one of the most popular events in the winter sports season. Our successful partnership with the DSV and ÖSV for the ski jumping event goes back to 2010 and we are thrilled that we can continue to build on this winning cooperation."

Walter Vogel, DSV Board Member, said: "Infront and the DSV have enjoyed a long and good partnership and we are delighted that we were able to extend this cooperation for another four years. Our goal is to further develop the Vierschanzentournee into the ultimate premium property in winter sports. In such turbulent times as these we above all need a reliable and competent partner like Infront in order to achieve this."

Peter Schröcksnadel, President Austria Ski Federation, said: “Since 2010 our partnership with Infront for the Austrian events of the Vierschanzentournee has developed successfully and has presented a great look and feel. We are pleased to prolong this reliable cooperation for another period and look forward to further growing this relationship.”

The 2019/20 edition proved another success with around 100,000 ski jumping fans attending the four events and a new record live TV audience in Germany of 39.23 million – a 24-percent increase year-on-year.
