The outdoor apparel supplier remains faithful to the prestigious event series for another four years

Salzburg, Austria - The international sports marketing company Infront Sports & Media has extended its sponsorship agreement with Jack Wolfskin, the outdoor apparel supplier, as a sponsor of the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup for a further four years. The extension carries the sponsorship agreement through to the 2019/20 season, supporting the Jack Wolfskin brand as it continues to focus on international expansion.

As part of its comprehensive rights package, Jack Wolfskin will benefit from an advertising presence at 43 races per season with different branding packages at the start and finish areas, along the course and on athletes’ bibs. In addition, the company's logo will be included across all official communication and print materials as well as on the FIS website and in video spots on-site. Finally, a hospitality contingent is included along with further advertising and promotional rights.

Melody Harris-Jensbach, CEO of Jack Wolfskin: “The Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup provides us with an excellent platform from which we can achieve a strong and continuous presence in winter sports and communicate the Jack Wolfskin products within a technical and functional environment to ski and outdoor enthusiasts.”

Bruno Marty, Executive Director Winter Sports at Infront: “We are delighted to extend this longstanding partnership with Jack Wolfskin by another four years. The Jack Wolfskin brand is heavily associated with skiing and outdoor sport and therefore fits very authentically as a sponsor of one of the most prestigious event series in winter sport.”

Collective marketing as a key to success

Infront collectively markets the advertising and sponsorship rights for the majority of FIS World Cup races. The marketing approach offers sponsors a unified marketing platform for effective brand communication in the most important markets worldwide - with presence across the entire season.

The 2016/17 season starts on 22 and 23 October with the two giant slaloms in Sölden, Austria.
