Infront and Perform present vision for handball following landmark agreement

Glasgow, Scotland - Handball's future in Europe looks brighter than ever after the European Handball Federation (EHF) confirmed the hosts for the EHF EURO 2022 and 2024.

The announcement was made on the second day of the EHF Congress in Glasgow where Infront and Perform Group presented their vision for the future of the sport in Europe following the recently announced long-term agreement.

The 10-year partnership means Infront will be fully involved in all four events thanks to the exclusive media and marketing partnership unveiled in May.

The Men’s EHF EURO 2022 was the first event to be decided with Hungary and Slovakia beating France, Spain and Belgium to organise the second EHF EURO with 24 teams.

Slovenia, FYR Macedonia and Montenegro will welcome the Women's EHF EURO 2022, marking the first time three nations will host a women's championship.

Germany were selected as hosts of the Men’s EHF EURO 2024, holding off a joint bid from Denmark and Switzerland. It will be the first time Germany will host the men's edition, having previously hosted the women’s event in 1994.

The Women’s EHF EURO 2024 will be awarded by the EHF Executive Committee at a later date.

Infront has worked with the EHF since the first European Championship in 1994 and from there has shaped the tournament into one of the biggest national team sports events in the world over the course of 25 EHF EURO events.
