Zug, Switzerland – As media rights partner of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), Infront Sports & Media has secured broadcast coverage of the 2015 Men’s and Women’s CEV Volleyball European Championships to fans in Europe as well as beyond – extending to almost 130 territories worldwide.

The Women's CEV European Volleyball Championship, held from 26 September to 4 October 2015 in Belgium (Antwerp) and the Netherlands (Rotterdam, Apeldoorn and Eindhoven), will be broadcast into a total of 128 countries and territories worldwide by 27 TV stations reaching out to Europe, the USA and Canada, Central and South America, Asia and the Middle East.

The production operation involves a minimum of 9 cameras in the preliminary rounds and 12 from the play-offs onwards, including an ultra-motion camera.

Coverage on the men’s event, which follows from 9 to 18 October in Bulgaria (Sofia and Varna) and in Italy (Turin and Busto Arsizio), will be on an equal level. The Italian games will be produced by Infront (host broadcaster RAI), featuring a minimum of 10 cameras for the preliminary round and up to 13 cameras from the quarter finals. BNT will manage the host broadcast in Bulgaria. In addition to filming and transmitting a high-quality signal, all broadcasters will be supported in their unilateral production, transmission as well as commentary facilities and services.

André Meyer, CEV President, said: “I am pleased with the impressive coverage and audience we have secured for the real volleyball highlights of the 2015 season. This is testament to the excellent cooperation we have established with Infront Sports & Media throughout the years.
